With the new year just around the corner, are you filled with excitement or anxieties? I believe someone of us are having mix emotions as we are glad that the year is coming to an end and we are hoping for the best in the new year.

That said, there might be some anxieties deep inside.

Fear or faith

For the last two years, I have been seeing my future through the eyes of fear. I fear the worst. And I expect the worst. Of course, what you expect, you get.

The worst did happen. But it didn’t kill me.

Then I received the message via Rick Warren’s Daily Hope podcast.

See through the eyes of faith

In Numbers 13, Moses was asked by the Lord to send 12 men to explore the Promised Land. However, when the men returned, two of them gave a different account of what they saw from the rest of them. While the rest of them saw the Promised Land through the eyes of fear, Caleb and Hoshea (Moses named him Joshua) saw it through the eyes of faith.

Question: are you seeing your future through the eyes of fear or faith?
