Don't Give Your Childen Gifts For Their Birthday

What do you usually get for your child’s birthday? Gifts?

As parents, we want the best for our children. However, for my son’s third birthday, we stumbled upon something that would change our perspective about what to do for his birthday forever.

Birthday Celebrations

Birthday celebration is a big thing. Especially if you are a kid. Most parents would prepare a small goodie bag filled with candies and small gifts for every child who attend.

I mean, isn’t it nice to attend a party and get some gifts? Who wouldn’t like it?

We decided to take it one notch higher. In addition to giving out goodie bags, we bought each of kid a balloon – knowing the affection that kids have for balloons.

After the cakes, drinks, and pictures, we brought out the balloons. Boy, you should look at the kids’ faces.

Longer lasting happiness

From that day on, my son became the most popular boy in class. All because he brought joy and happiness to his classmates by giving them balloons.

Ever since, we came up with the concept that the birthday person would give his or her loved ones gifts instead of getting it.

If you have not tried this, why not give it a try and see how people will respond to you?
