Be Different, Not Better

During one of our evening walks, I snapped a picture of this fungus.

As I was reviewing the photo, it dawned on me.

Different is BETTER than better

You could, like the grasses, be slightly greener, slightly taller, or slightly shinier. At best, you’d only be better.

But when you are different, like this fungus, you immediately distinguish yourself from the rest.

You stand out.

So, choose to be different from the rest. But every day strive to become a better version of yourself.
