To become a change agent, you must first change yourself. Now, let’s face it. That’s the toughest part. Because it is always easier to change others.
I’ve had the privilege to facilitate several sessions of situation analysis with school during the end of the year. The recurring theme is this: the future is uncertain and we must prepare for it.
Anyone who claims that they are a perfectionist are truly saying that they are afraid of failure. Let’s face it. It is just another way of saying, I’ll do it when I know it is going to be perfect. And, well, the truth is, nothing will ever be perfect. Not especially at the first attempt.
If someone asked you, what do you do, how would you answer? Can you describe it in one word? The danger of our inability to describe our work in one word is the lack of clarity. And without clarity, the allocation of our most precious resource, time, will be decided based on demands.
As I’m getting closer to publishing my 100th post, I have recently conducted an evaluation of my efforts. In conducting this evaluation, there are two aspects that I am looking at: Performance analysis: are my efforts paying off? Improvements: what can I do better or differently?
